Inside Coachella’s Star-Studded Revolve Festival

What was it like to party on the grounds of the Revolve Festival? Like a dream.

The star-studded two-day event, which went down at Merv Griffin’s Estate in La Quinta, Calif. was like a mini-Coachella music fest in itself, with celebs like Kendall Jenner and Joan Smalls partying the day away, Rick Ross and Chance the Rapper performing on the Revolve x Palms main stage, and lucky attendees grubbing on irresistible comfort food, picking up free swag, and sipping Moet & Chandon Champagne.

This year’s fest marked the third time the online retailer brought its epic desert party to Coachella, and we enjoyed it so much that we couldn’t resist taking it in both days.

The Alice in Wonderland-themed bash was an Instagram haven, with plenty of spots to grab the perfect snap, like a bright pink convertible covered with colorful flowers, a multi-colored Revolve Festival sign, and a whimsical carousel swing ride that came straight from Michael Jackson’s Neverland Ranch. And there were plenty of freebies to boot, like bandanas from gorge accessories brand 8 Other Reasons and sleek Quay Australia shades.

In the lit poolside Revolve x Palms area, VIPs like Emily Ratajkowski and her husband Sebastian Bear lounged in poolside cabanas, while bartenders cracked fresh coconuts and filled them with Ciroc cocktails for partygoers. As guests like Leonardo DiCaprio took in performances by 21 Savage, A$AP Rocky and more, others made their way through a maze that let to a secret bar.

There was also plenty of grub, with Postmates serving up Skinny Bitch Pizza the first day, and LA cult fave In-N-Out creating a really long line when they started serving up animal-style burgers.

The vibe was cool, trendy, and fun, with attendees showing off their Revolve-inspired festival stylings in crop tops, high-waist, booty-baring shorts, over-the-knee boots, booties, floral dresses and more. On the first day, I rocked a Topshop sequin topped, lace bodysuit paired with distressed high-waist shorts, and Topshop booties.

On day two, I sported a yellow off-the-shoulder Naked Zebra dress that cinched at the waist with a tie-up belt. The key for choosing looks for the fest is to come stylish and Revolve-ish, but to make sure your shoes did not kill your feet. For next year, I highly recommend block heels and booties for anyone attending the fest, or a pair of Rollasoles portable flats tucked in your purse if you can’t resist rocking a killer heel. You’ll definitely need them.

Fashion moments aside, the Revolve Festival blew our minds on every level…and we can’t wait to do it again next year. Don’t forget to follow our fave Cadillac Coachella girls’ road trip moments with our faves Feven and Helena Yohannes on Instagram on Destination Fab and Feven and Helena!
